"I received my copy of "The Datsun Roadster Book" today, then spent most of the rest of the day perusing it. Thanks to all of you who described it honestly and without exaggeration. To those of you who don't have the book, consider this yet another endorsement. Buy it! There aren't too many left. Beside the dry mechanics and specs, the book has plenty of anecdotes and sidebars for liberal arts majors like me. Reading "The Fairlady Story"translated from the Japanese, I found it interesting that we all drive"Dutsuns," not Datsuns. But then, who hasn't exclaimed, "What?!" when readinga translated-from-Japanese repair manual? Plus, the photography is extraordinary. Shortly after I ordered the book, I received a kind thank you from Scott Sheeler. No Scott, the rest of us wish to thank you and your crew for such an exemplary book. Now, how do I keep the book clean, reading it while it's with me underneath my SPL? Finally, here's the standard disclaimer. I don't personally know, nor work for, nor am paid by, anyone who is responsible for the writing and publication of "The Datsun Roadster Book." This endorsement is mine; no one else's." So forget the limitations on promoting the book, this is one of those manuals that is a DEFINITE MUST HAVE.
